Specializing in Spanish baroque painting called Golden Age, Romero has spent much of his time to study and reproduction of works of Diego Velázquez, as "The Drunk", "The Spinners" or "The Water Seller of Seville" also has some the most representative paintings Bartolome Esteban Murillo, and works of Rafael Romero Barros Cordoba and Julio Romero de Torres, obtaining the copy number 1 in the Museo Julio Romero de Torres in Cordoba. It also features works by Francisco de Goya Zurbarán and French post-Impressionist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. Today, Manuel Romero prepares a study of "The Young Beggar" Murillo in collaboration with the Louvre in Paris where the work. Also began an educational project to promote art and culture in schools.
